I've created my own party members in another topic. I would rather a true dwarf Mage, but my little person or small human scenario add a true perception of self and identity that makes the character interesting while the true dwarf Mage is more interesting from a lore stand point. Oh and yes, Solas will be both angry at Dagna as well as deeply impressed. I'd really like to play a fantasy RPG in which, for once, I am not the one around which everything resolves, and these characters have the potential to really affect the story and world in which it is set. in Tevinter, Legendary Elven Warrior, last GW, SOLAS. The last Grey Warden in Thedas, Alistair or Loghain's bastard son from before his joining. Or one of the 'others' Solas and Abelas have a chat about. Traitor to the Qun, a strong enough mage to last in Tevinter society. Qunari Blood Mage - recruited in Tevinter. At the start of the game this isn't known yet. She is now the first Dwarven Mage, but has also opened up the possibility for every other Dwarf who'd want to. I've always been fascinated with the idea of learning how exactly it is that Dwarves don't dream and don't connect with the Fade at all and I think a character like this would be the perfect hook for exploring that.Дagna - Tinkered with the broken Orb and connected with the Fade somehow. Maybe they're a half-Dwarf or are somehow specially Fade-touched or lyrium-addled (someone like Sandal). Someone like Dagna except (for whatever reason) they actually have magical ability. Though I'd also love to play as a true Dwarven mage as well. Is your 'Dwarven' mage idea a Little Person? That would be an interesting addition to the Dragon Age cast of companions! Having Shale whole and as a Dwarf would be an interesting story to unravel! I believe she is squarely destroyed for good but who can say with a soul as strong as hers and the length of time she spent as a golem? Shale but turned back into a human like she wanted to at the end of DAO. Imagine the lore we could get from the conversations with this elf. When word reaches them about what happened in Thedas they join you and can lend insight to the Dread Wolf. Immortal Elf: someone who was spared the quickening and has been wandering the countryside avoiding contact with others to preserve his or her immortality. They have an identity crisis and you have to guide them to either embrace their human back ground or remind them they were raised as a dwarf and that is all that matters.ДЄwakened Darkspawn: kind of a spin on the grey warden character we normally get. Through a personal quest it is revealed that they are in fact not a dwarf, but a small human. This is what drives them to join with you in DA4. The child grows into their powers and believe they are something special the first dwarf Mage, meant form something great. I could see this happening a couple different ways, but this is my favorite version of the back story: small human is found abandon by a dwarf family and they raise him or her as a dwarf. I feel like the OP list is good, but I have more ambition with the companions I want to see in DA 4:Дwarven Mage: I know they say it is impossible, but we are talking about a world with time magic so impossible should not be an option.
